The plastic ones are good for tile & grout

The plastic ones work well for cleaning grout and tile. One brush should get you through 1-2 bathrooms or 1-kitchen depending on the size of the rooms.

Not hard, crushes easily

Not what I consider a hard case. It's a soft material formed into a rigid shape. It crushes easily. It will not protect your glasses from being crushed.
