Wonderful island notes!

Very nice speakers for sm/med room; add a sub for more bottom-end kick...
Needed a pair of small speakers for my home office and the Monitor 40's fit the bill well. Mid and high range are quite clear, bass is adequate. May add a Polk PSW-10 sub eventually. Office is small with hardwood floor, acoustically "live" environment. Old, trusty Onkyo A-7070 makes 'em sound-off with authority.

Give these a listen!
Bought these speakers used; had to correct a buzzing sound in one of the tweeters' mounting apparatus, but now, Holy Smokes! I'm no audiophile, so no esoteric descriptions forthcoming; will just comment that, with a serious amp, these speakers will extract "new" sounds out of "old" recordings, particularly your vinyl... Great bottom-end; I've no need of a sub for a medium sized living room. These are contenders!
