Waited a long time for purple to be in this price range.
Jinaho 159 is a huge Chinese pen, but it takes standard international cartridges or converter that does not have ink capacity one might want. The pen was only available in black a first, but then other colors were made. The cost varied, but purple always cost more than black or white, yellow, orange,red, green, blue, even gold. Finally there was a purple pen listed at not much more than these other colors. The paint is really nice. I'm pleased to have found this one.

A thing of beauty
I brought a bag full of pens to a recent meeting of our regional pen club, and this was one of them. Even seasoned collectors and a pen blogger who gets lots of very cool new pens seemed to be impressed. The Monteverde Mountains of the World series has good designs and really impressive materials. I've bought a number of Monteverde products over the years and find them a great value and a pleasure to own and use.
