Grass is greener...
Good base color for mixing greens. Stains because it's a pthalo family color, so use ultramarine turquoise if you need it not to stain.

It works. Whew.
The used processor was clean and packed in antistatic foam. Installed it and it appears to be working fine. Windows detects it correctly. Nice upgrade from iCore 5 series.

Portable watercolor paint maker
This is the backbone ingredient of watercolor paint. Also required is glycerine and maybe a surfactant like alcohol ( organic pigments). As soon as it arrived I tried it on some yellow ochre pigment. I made the paint in a watercolor half pan. I put in a dab of gum arabic paste and the same amount of pigment, and added about 6 drops of glycerine. Mineral pigments don't need alcohol. I mixed it about 3-4 minutes with a sacking needle from a packet of specialty sewing needles. It's the needle that has a bent, flattened tip. I stirred it around and around till it made paint. Along the way I added a couple more drops glycerine. It dried glistening with a bit of cracking around the pan. It wetted up instantly to a wet brush, and the paint stuck to paper and didn't brush off. Easy way to test new pigments quickly.
