You have a turbo?!
Get that question a lot minutes after installation and went for a test drive. Box came with everything you need inside, including new hardware, hose clamps, and of course the STICKERS. Installation is fairly easy with the provided instructions that pertain to your specific car, in my case a 2016.5 Chevy Cruze LT Turbo. You really only need a flathead screw driver and a I believe it was a torx 25? Can’t remember but it’s a straightforward process if you follow instructions, they even include photos to guide (wish they were in color instead of the black and white no biggie). Removal of old airbox and installation of intake may vary from car to car and mechanical skill level. This was my first CAI install ever and got it done in about 40 minutes. Once installed and engine on you can really hear the difference from the stock box to the new cone. The turbo whistle is the cherry on top! Note that it will have a slight “hum” is the best way i can describe it due to the resonation of the piping, which leads to the cabin being just a tad bit louder, but goes away once you’re up to speed. As for any horsepower gain, not sure if i got a million HP or 1 pony more, but it does give my Cruze some pep and accelerates off the line faster than usual. Other than that, it’s a solid CAI as expected from K&N, build quality is excellent and sturdy once installed. One tip of advice for when installing the rubber sealing/strip, they will have you measure and cut to dimensions as stated in instructions, try to leave about a quarter inch extra so you can wrap the heat shield completely and not have the issue of cutting it too short. Definitely made my Cruze sound meaner, and next up is to pair it up with a nice exhaust system.

Adds style without breaking the bank
Purchased for 2016 Cruze LT. I previously had gloss black versions of these skins but they got damaged when installing new tires so thought I would give these in chrome a chance. THEY LOOK SO GOOD, my Cruze is Mosaic black and it completes the chrome accent it has. What I did different from my original black ones was that I used window sealing foam tape to apply on the back of the skins cause they will rattles a lot! I got 4 rolls for each wheel, and i used the thinnest ones and have had no issues with rattles and they help it sit more snug on the wheel itself. Other than that, the skins are very sturdy and well made and easy to clean.
