a great carry on actor
just like sid james and kenneth williams,charles hawtery had that impact on these carry on films.
he was a natural,if he was in films today he would of received an academy award that have no one like him to day
just watch him in these carry on films he deserved more recognition that was an era when films were made and
still stand up to the trip they make now.
having said this all the main characters in the carry on series where fabulous,charles,sid,keneth,joan,nothing will ever replace these legends,charles makes you laught with his antics what else can i say...
