Beautiful guitar, great sound, comfortable feel, and at an affordable price
The model I purchased was a dark mahogany, totally gorgeous wood grain!! Right out of the box, it tuned perfectly, from stem to stern. Easy to play, no buzz, no dead frets, and not hard on the fingers. Very nice projection, with clear tones in the midrange and not too brassy. The neck has a comfortable feel. It's not a Gibson, nor a Martin, but isn't claiming to be one. But you can't beat it for the price. Clearly a quality guitar. Don't sell the Chinese short!! They did a great jobe with this one. Clearly, one of Fender's best models.

Ovation CSE24
Ovation highly recommended this model for those who could not afford the higher priced American made Balladeers and Legend model. This particular model was supposed to "rival" its upscaled sisters.
Though, cosmetically, it was a beautiful instrument, its function was quite a bit less than what i expected in a guitar that would sell as MSRP over 500.00. Strings were way to high, impossible to tune it. necessitating spending additional amounts to a guitar tech or luthier for a professional setup. Guitars costing that much should not need to require a serious amount of work on it in order to be able to use it. I was thoroughly disappointed with it in that regard.
As it turned out, I wound up selling it for less than I paid for it, because of those imperfections.
