lights work fine: lantern covers are a pain to install
This may seem an odd valuation of this product. The lights work very nicely and we have installed them as fairy lights in some bushes in the yard. However, the lanterns have to be installed over each light. What a pain in the neck. My wife and I each worked about 5 minutes to install on one light--we gave up. A good idea as a product but we find the execution very flawed. We have not requested a return--not worth the effort. And the lights do work very nicely (the reason we give the product a "well made.")

Good, legible markers w/o smearing
These are good, legible markers that do not smear or run when marking on paper. However, they do not strike me as being particularly metallic in color: they do not have the shinny metallic surface that I associate with being "metallic." The colors are true just not "metallic" as I understand the word.

Generally I have been a reverse snob, but this different
A reverse snob is an individual who prides himself on refusing to purchase items with the designer's name or logo on it. However, a truly excellent piece of designer ware deserves an acknowledgement of the craftsman or artist who created the work. This wallet is very well made, fine leathers (none of that "bonded leather" knockoff) used through out; it is large enough to be of use in carrying credit, I.D., necessary insurance info, and medic-alert cards (if you're young enough some of these items are not necessary, but time will make them so). There is even room for a couple pictures of especially important individuals such as my wife and my dog ["No, that one's my wife"]). And amazingly the wallet is designed to hold these essential items and does not feel like a filing cabinet in my back pocket. An excellent piece of work--BUY!
