I have been building models for around 60 years. My first model was at 8 years old. After watching the movie "Flying Tigers" starring John Wayne, I just had to have a P-40 flown by the AVG in China. It was a 1:48 Monogram (# PA-96) P-40B "Tiger Shark". Its time to sell off my collection as I have more kits than I can ever build in my lifetime.
I have sold about 1/2 of my model kit collection thus far (April 2024). When that is exhausted, I will turn to selling my finished models.
I am now busy building 1/35 World War II dioramas featuring armor and figures. I have built some for my grandson and myself.
Hard to part with them. I will list some of these from time to time.
Hard to beat that feeling you get when you first open that new model kit...and start building!
