You can replace the batteries in those cheap toys and gadgets without it costing more than the item!
Many times I've thrown away a handy little torch clock or fun toy that cost a few dollars because the cost of replacing the batteries was more than the cost of the item.
At less than $8:00 for 20 (yes, twenty!) button batteries, I can keep things operating indefinitely, which means that they won't end up in landfill anytime soon.
Leather Case Cover Pouch Holster Bag With Belt Clip For Apple iPhone 5S, 5C, 5

NOT REAL LEATHER!
A few months down the track, both of the pouches I bought have split at the seams. I use my iPhone 5S several times each day, so I need a REAL LEATHER pouch, which is what these were advertised as being, but aren't!
The pouches look neat and appeared to be made well, but definitely not real leather.
Unfortunately, they are also not robust enough for daily use. If I'd only had one, it would have probably lasted 8-10 weeks at most.
The REAL leather pouch I'd replaced with these lasted over 12 months before finally giving up, and cost about the same to buy.
Brand-name product security, these Panasonic button batteries are really good value for those items which (usually) require several LR44 batteries such as LED Light decorations.
