For a small amount of additional effort by the manufacturer this could have been a good motor DO not buy one

the speed control circuitry actually uses valuable power to slow the motor
the water proof seals on the motor are just water proof
however their soft nature and the absence of any sealant means as the seals compress they will leak, say after 1 season
