Good but release action not like OEM
These are good, neat and solid clips. Unfortunately they don’t have the same release mechanism of the originals (press middle button down, clicks and is released) but needs levering up.

Great bit of kit....
Everything you need is here. Both buttons on my mini key case disintegrated and one electronic button underneath broke also. The old key came apart easily and you can gently lift up the circuit board and battery.
I used one of the buttons that comes with the kit to replace the broken one. Its easy to solder on as it sits in top of the board rather than poking through holes so just a case of pressing gently on the button leg with the soldering iron to melt the existing solder left after taking off the old button. A steady hand and tweezers (to hold it in place) are useful here.
Fitted the new battery and the transponder from the old key body before replacing the blank with the original cut key and securing with the pin included. All works fine and looks good with the Mini emblem. Great stuff, amazing value. Cheers!

Really good sound...but not good for jogging etc.
I bought these after I lost my SoundMagic phones looking to upgrade and having read the What Hi Fi reviews. The sound quality is very good but then I don't think I'm able to waffle on about it, it's clear, well defined with a good bass. They are however not as comfortable as the SM 'phones and noticeably heavier.
A problem is that the volume control is very close to the right earpiece so dangles down, dragging it out of your ear sometimes. It would benefit from being placed further down the wire with a small clip added to secure to clothing.
As mentioned in another review, there is sound transfer (like a muffled thud) to your ears when the cable is knocked, which is very distracting so I definitely wouldn't recommend these for jogging etc.
