Suite Francais
Selection for local couples book club. Interesting insights into how the French faced their defeat and occupation during World War II. Probably fairly realistic regarding how everyone, and all classes of people, were really out for themselves. Difficult for anyone to say they would have acted differently in such circumstances. Recommend the reader read the complete back matter, before reading the "novel" itself. Makes the "novel" mean much more.
