Good sizeable carving tray
Purchased this as a gift for a family member who has discovered briskets and smokers. It’s a good size and the spikes hold the meat steady for carving. Good quality stainless steel construction.

Perfect for the Man Cave
I purchased this for my partner who spends a lot of timing standing on a concrete floor in the Man Cave. He was getting a lot of leg and knee pain and the mat has helped reduce this a lot. It’s a good size - bigger than many of the other mats I could find on-line. It’s solid instruction means it’s durable and it’s design makes it easy to clean. At about $70 online I think it’s good value.

Great value and function for the everyday cook
3 of 3 found this helpful This mandolin is well priced for the everyday cook. It has six cutting and slicing options on three separate blades (a different option on each side). The function is written on each blade and also well-illustrated on the instructions printed on the box (I cut this bit off the box and popped in the storage container for quick reference). The mandolin legs fold up which means it stores flat and safely. I found it best to use one hand to hold the mandolin firm where the legs attach to the body and cut the veges using the guard with the other hand. If you are too forceful or the surface is too slippery the legs may fold down as there isn’t a locking system. This is probably the only thing that could be improved upon but it’s easy to manage with that technique. It cuts well and is relatively easy to clean. The guard can be a little awkward with some veges but use it whenever you can - you can certainly slice without it but you definitely need to watch your fingers as the blade is very sharp.
There is no collection area for the sliced veges but that’s easily managed if you use the mandolin on a large flat chopping board or your kitchen bench.
The storage box is solid and big enough to hold the mandolin and all blades securely in the one spot yet compact enough to not take up too much room in your kitchen storage. The catch is an easy-to-use slider. At under $40 you wouldn’t find this in the hands of a professional chef but it meets the needs of the everyday cook pretty well.
