Smart watering controller

Looks like a good product. Turned it on and got it connected to my WiFi network with no issues. App for IOS seems to do all the things you would want. I purchased my unit without a rain/freezing sensor. I should have purchased one that came with the rain sensor. It has a small backup battery so it does not loose its marbles if the power goes off and a dedicated output to turn a water pump on (via a relay, you supply that). It remains to be seen how well it performs over time, but it looks like it should be good.

Great device for sound

The original HomePod has a much better sound quality than the HomePod mini. It is a great pity Apple chose to stop making the HomePod. However, the Apple environment supporting HomePod is not as good as other smart speakers. Some features only work if you subscribe to Apple Music which is way too expensive in my view. On the positive side Apple do take your privacy seriously, you can play any music from your iPhone/iPad, radio stations, etc. Siri OK on HomePod, but will not play playlists unless you subscribe to Apple Music. So great sound, smart speaker features need improving, but Apple is still updating firmware.
