Great product, not so great installation instructions

The unit itself is great. The problem is the installation. Unless you are installing it on a lined metal pool wall with a cut-out, you have problems. Don't try to use the double gasket that comes with the product. Order two single gaskets on line. I did this, and made a support structure to stabilize the skimmer, taking strain off of the pool liner. Works great now. Hayward needs to re-author their instructions.
