Hasegawa kits are easy to build and well made.
1/48 Airfix Messerschmitt BF 109F 109 ME 109F Plastic Scale Model Kit Sealed

Thin
This model is OK. It does not feature as many parts nor is it as detailed in comparison with other brands of 1:48 scale kits. There is no elaborate cockpit tub, no internal engine or gun parts. The fuselage and wings have just the bare minimum rivet lines and some are very faint. This will be a quick build for external painting only. Good kit for kids.

A "Boss" Kit
I build Fw190D-9, 1:48 models, 30 to date. I buy older kits on ebay and use after market decal sets to finish many of them. I have used kits from Tamiya, Fujimi, Italeri, DML and Eduard. Hobbyboss kits are the easiest to build with accurate details, decent instructions and a great colored sheet for painting and decal placement. Many of the other brand kits have way too many small pieces for the 1:48 scale that would be better in a 1:32 scale model. Eduard is especially bad in this regard.A few of the other brands have fitting problems where one must file down components or add filler putty to make a proper fit without gaps. I never had these problems with a Hobbyboss Kit. Great kits. Bob Winters
