Basic features don't work

The record-to-network feature doesn't work either -- community forums suggest this is a very common problem with network disks over 500gbyte.

Lower quality than anticipated based on price.
3 of 3 found this helpful Item looks nice in photos, or from a distance, but once you receive it, you see that the parts are fairly poorly made and don't fit together very well. Feels more like a $25 item, not a $80 one.
Rough or marked finishing on laminate surfaces.
Rough edge cuts.
Poor accuracy of drill holes, so the final fit isn't very accurate -- ie. edges don't quite line up.

It broke after I used it four times!
Getting it fixed under warranty was very annoying - company very hard to contact, then took two weeks for a repair person to come out.
