Battery for Philips PET1002/37 Portable DVD Player
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased a second battery to supplement the first one that came with my original Philips portable DVD player. On-line reviews give the Philips unit top marks in all catagories. What I purchased on eBay was a spare battery.
Most reviews claim that a fully charged battery will give 2.5 hours of viewing time on average. When I ran my portable DVD player I was able to get 3.3 hours of play. The second battery packs also provides over three hours of viewing. This is why I bought a second battery pack. I make overseas flights and to have over 6 hours of movie viewing at my disposal makes for a much more enjoyable flight.

Digital SLR at a great price.
4 of 4 found this helpful I've grown tired of my SLR film loading cameras. And it's not just the hassles of dealing with film, but I hate lugging along the extra lenses, flashes and big/bulky carrying cases. When I purchased a Sony Power Shot digital camera for my wife, the old SLR hardly ever got used. The Sony digital camera takes good photos, yet it lacks the versatility of my film type Nikon with it's vast array of lenses and features. A friend of mine at work brought his Nikon P100 in to show us his photos from Mexico. But I was more interested in his camera than what was stored inside of it. Within a week I bought one of my own.
The Nikon P100 rivals any SLR film type camera that I've ever used. My daughter recently purchased a Sony Infinity SLR digital camera. She loves it, but it too requires multiple lenses and a larger bag to haul everything around. The Nikon P100 uses just one lens for wide angle and telephoto photography up to 26X. The picture quality is excellent. Its portability is even better - one camera in one pouch hung on my belt. Everything I need to take quality photos at any distance and HD video is in the camera. That's it.
Before I purchased my first digital SLR camera I read some on-line reviews. Just about everyone likes their Nikon P100. There were a few who complained that the picture quality was very bad. This can be best surmised as these people didn't know how to use their camera properly. After seeing my friend's vacation pictures on his P100, and seeing what I can do with mine, there's no question that the Nikon P100 is an excellent camera. The best part is the price. Most certainly the P100 can be purchased for $600.00 less than other so called "higher end" SLRs. But in reality the more expensive cameras offer nothing more than the P100, just a bigger ego.

Detailed but has many fit issues.
Outstanding detail, but as with all Airfix model kits there are fit issues throughout.
