Hard to use
0 of 2 found this helpful The overall design makes it difficult to use. I'll try to explain: The spring that holds the sides together is strong, (it has to be so the phone won't slip out). But that causes the 4 vent "grips" on the back, (these grips attach the holder to your air vent) can't hold on.
So when you have the mount attached to you vent and attempt to insert or remove your phone from the holder, the amount of pressure to open the side grips, (remember the strong spring) pulls the entire mount from the vent.
You either have to use two hands (fingertips mostly) to carefully open the grip and insert the phone; or hold the mount in place with one hand and force the mount open with the side of your phone to insert it.
Lastly, depending on the size/weight of your phone, the mount will pull down on the vents, causing the phone to tip downwards.
Overall I bought an iotti holder. It resolves all of these issues.
