Was a satisfied customer
December 2021: Installed a week ago. My friends' Kenmore wasn't cooling and they were tapping on the thermostat cover or fiddling with the control dial to make the refrigerator come on. Found a video online showing how to install the replacement thermostat. So far so good.
Update April 2022: Refrigerator section is now freezing food. Can't say it is the thermostat but it points in that direction.
Update May 2022: Yes, it was the thermostat. It lasted 4 months. I just replaced it with a (more expensive) Original Equipment Manufacturer thermostat and now the refrigerator works properly again.
Update February 2024: The refrigerator is still working properly. Lesson learned!
