James Grout, John Thaw-Inspector Morse: Series 1-12 (UK IMPORT) DVD NEW
    22 November 2017
    Good deal.
This item is clearly marked 'Playback Region 2 :This will not play on most DVD players sold in the U.S., U.S. Territories, Canada, and Bermuda. You will require a multi-region DVD player and a PAL compatible TV to view. ' It should not be rated poorly because someone did not read the descriptor. But, don't despair. If you find you cannot watch these DVDs on your player, there still may be a chance to view Morse. Some DVD players sold in the U.S. have the capacity to view different regions, they just have to be 'hacked' Using Google, (or any search engine) type in 'dvd region free hack'. It will give you several websites to go to. All you have to do is type in the model of your DVD player, and the site will tell you if it is 'hackable'. If it is hackable, the site will tell you what numbers to key in from your remote to unlock your player. It's actually pretty simple. Having said this, the DVDs look pretty good. The transfer process seems to be good (considering these were probably filmed in the 1980s/1990s. They are not wide screen, nor HD, but still quite enjoyable. I'm a late comer to the Morse series, but I really enjoy these.
