03-04 SUBARU FORESTER HEAD LIGHT TURN SIGNAL COLUMN SWITCH headlight
16 March 2021
Great switch, great price! Works for Outback too!
Switch works exactly as described. Definitely pulled from a car as the lettering is a little worn, but that's fine with me--so long as it works! FWIW this went into a 2001 Subaru Outback and it works fine, even though the description stated it was for a Forester.
Panasonic TH-42PZ77U Sustain TNPA4250 ab REPAIR SERVICE
30 October 2015
Fast service, repaired part works perfectly!
I decided to give this service a try in order to resurrect my ailing Panasonic plasma TV, which had turned into an 80 pound paperweight. After disassembling the unit and doing some simple tests to isolate the failing component (the sustain board), I considered repairing it myself but decided to give this service a try rather than having to order a bunch of components and solder the board. After purchasing the service and mailing the board, I eagerly waiting for its return, which took about a week. I reinstalled the repaired board, crossed my fingers, plugged the power in, and wha-la! My TV now works like it's brand new. In this day of disposable technology, it makes me feel really good to be able to actually repair something and breathe a few more years of life into it. It's also fun to tell people that I fixed my TV! I highly recommend this service. Just make sure that you run through the Panasonic diagnostic tests to ensure that you have the wrong defective component board. Then send your board to these folks, let them do their magic on it, put it back in, and enjoy your newly repaired TV.
UHF/VHF MMDVM hotspot OLED+ Antenna+ Case Support P25 DMR YSF for Raspberry pi
19 September 2019
Works great, looks nice, requires assembly and tinkering to get it to work properly
I picked this unit as an inexpensive way to jump into a DMR hotspot, particularly since I already have quite a few Raspberry Pi zero-W's in my shack. Assembly was trivial--just soldering in two 10-pin headers onto the Pi, attaching the hotspot board, and putting it all into the case. Installing Pi-Star was also very simple; burn the image onto a micro-SD card, generate the WiFi .conf file and drop it onto the card, and boot the Pi. The hotspot came up immediately and I was able to access it from a web browser. After configuring it (and there is plenty of help on the Pi-Star forums) I was up and running. I'm amazed at the quality of audio and the signal strength for such a small unit; it works perfectly anywhere in the house, using a Baofeng DM-1701 HT. And the OLED display works great once the hotspot is configured to use it. My only negative comments are around the documentation (or lack thereof) provided with the unit. The only docs that came with the unit was a single page of instructions on how to build the WiFi config file and download the Pi-Star image. The other docs were three blurry pages of photo copied screen shots which were helpful but still required a lot of research to figure out the proper settings. Again, the Pi-Star forums were super helpful. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this product for someone who is looking for an inexpensive alternative to the $100+ out-of-the-box hotspots. Yes, it required several hours to assemble and configure, so if you're not very technical or have little patience, I'd recommend you get an assembled unit. For me, total out of pocket was less than $50, so I'm very happy!
