Simple, but effective

Good replacement for original battery

I purchased this battery to replace an original Dell battery which was well past its use by date. I haven't had any problems using it - it charges well and gives me freedom (again) to use my laptop away from a power point. Due to the capacity of the battery it will not last all day; however, it does give me several hours of use - which I can extend if I run the screen brightness at its lowest setting.

Easy to use, good sound quality

Originally I had a problem using this - turned out it was user error. I had a headset with a 2.5mm plug, which I plugged in to a 3.5mm adapter before plugging in to this splitter - this setup didn't work due to the 3.5mm adapter. Once I realised the problem was the adapter (and not the splitter cable), I plugged in my mobile phone headset with a 3.5mm plug and I found this splitter worked really well. I get clear sound from both the mic and headphones on my 3.5mm headset.
