Greatest show nobody watched
1 of 1 found this helpful The Unit was a great, well written, relatively politically neutral show that portrayed both the professional and personal/private lives of some of America's top elite special forces. Overall, the show does a great job of showing the dedication, level of commitment and patriotism that the members of the Unit have, and in turn most of the military and special forces, and most of all their willingness to do it for love of country, not for recognition, because aside from the members of the military that work directly with them, and their families, nobody knows that they even lift a finger. Best of all, the show does this without the perception of being a hardcore right-wing political propaganda show. These people have a job to do, they might not always agree with it, but it's usually the right thing to do, and they get it done. Great action scenes, very knowledgable military consultants, and very well written. It's a great show.
