covers nicely, but is not a mirror finish
It is good paint and goes on very nicely leaving a smooth finish. However it is not a mirror finish chrome, it is more of a silver colour, maybe a matt chrome. It looks nice though.

Good for the price
I got one for around $75 on EBay. It is well worth that price. It works well. As stated elsewhere the battery life is not so great, but for what I wanted it for it is fine as it is plugged in most of the time. It was easily rooted, and once rooted I was able to install Google Market easily. You can also install Market without rooting.
It has some quirks, like the power button does not put it to sleep anymore, it keeps on waking up (although there are reports this can be fixed, but none of the workarounds worked for me).
I want to use it for development so it works fine for that case. It also runs angry birds very nicely, a big plus.

works very well
Nice 4 port high speed hub. Works as expected. turns each port on or off as needed.
