The Woodwright's Workbook by Roy Underhill
You have to be a lover of old ways in woodworking to appreciate the trials and editing of Roy Underhill.
Roy is best loved for his television show on PBS and this book rides along side just as well. Roy is well known for his knowledge of tools pre 1900's. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to do wood working the hard way but best way.
