Quality construction, powerful movement and keeps the pool clean
I have a 7m x 3.5m pool with the skimmer box in the middle of the short side and 4 return jets at the opposite end.
The instructions mentioned the potential for the jets to interfere with the movement of the cleaner. I haven't experienced this.
The instructions say to clean the pool prior to installing the cleaner. I did this, and the cleaner has kept the pool very clean.
The cleaner moves powerfully along the bottom of the pool for about 2.5m then changes direction and moves for another 2.5m. I wouldn't call the movement random, but it's certainly not like someone mowing a lawn either.
Climbing the walls is a bit of a hit-and-miss affair. If the cleaner hits the wall a 'good' enough angle, it will climb the wall, pirouette, and then fall to the bottom of the pool. Even though I had heard reviews saying that it *would* climb the walls, I wasn't convinced that it could. I was pleasantly surprised that it does climb the walls.
If the cleaner hits the wall at an angle that's not 'good' enough, it will 'attempt' to clean the cove where the wall meets the floor of the pool.
Pro's:
- Quality construction
- Powerful movement
- Keeps the pool clean
Con's:
- You need to experiment with the cleaner's flow valve and float to get the best out of it's wall climbing ability
- It won't climb steps (I didn't expect it to)
- It won't move over tiles (I didn't expect it to)
Other thoughts:
I'm keen to see how reliable it is, as there are quite a few moving mechanical parts.
As of now, I'm very happy with it.

Works perfectly well
Anyone attempting to replace the screen on a Lumia 1020 will probably already know that it is a fiddly job. This screen came with all the tools necessary to open the phone to enable the screen replacement. There are a number of small foam pads that secure areas on the rear of the screen that need to be retrieved from the old screen, and attached to the new screen prior to reassembly. Removing the old foam pads isn't always successful. It's a shame that these pads aren't already in-place, or are provided loose in a plastic zip bag.
The screen sits a little higher than the original. This is probably the frame that is attached to it rather than the thickness of the screen itself. This increases the thickness of the phone by about 0.8mm (0.03inch). It's not much and doesn't affect the fitment of the phone into the Nokia PD-95G Camera Grip Battery Case.
Highly recommended.
