Fun for the family
This game is a favorite of my family and friends. I started playing with a coworker after work, and realized right away it was addicting and so fun! I took Catan (with the extension) to my family's Super Bowl party and we played 5 hours, well past the end of the Big Game. In other words, we were more entertained by Catan than the Superbowl. It's THAT good.

Dresden - my favorite Wizard
This series from beginning to end is amazing. I am eagerly awaiting the author's next addition. The books (mostly) occur in the world as we know it... with more underneath that is revealed as the series unfolds. The world is carefully crafted by Jim Butcher and you'll find that while each book is great to read on its own, the pacing from book to book allows each character to grow and live and breathe as if you might really encounter Harry Dresden in your daily routine, should you be so lucky (or unfortunate, as the case may be.) It is easy to get lost in Dresden's world and when you come back to your own it is almost a let-down that reality is so dull.
