Waste of money.. pretty bad, poor design
I have lost a couple of 1000's coordinates due to weak design of this item. That plug which goes to the receiver IS not solid/rigid any way.. after few days of usage it WAS NOT RECORDING anything.. nada.. nothing.. So... I do have 20..30.000 images without any coordinates, Good luck for me If I am able to find that exact spot I have used shooter of my camera... When back home, I have bought another piece, same one.. SAME thing happened.. Wasted +100USD...if you think to buy.. buy something SOLID .. I DO MEAN S O L I D .. with or without cord , if you think about cord.. you have to have rigid connection with receiver. Period. plenty of them on ebay. You choose.

Do not buy it .. waste of money
