Works for outputting to TV to display ONLY; does not work for converting to a digital file on PC
0 of 1 found this helpful I was under the impression this converted RCA (aka S-video) to HDMI which I could then then capture as a digital (ie, .mp4) file on my PC. This converter does NOT do this. However, it seems to work fine for outputting RCA / S-video to HDMI that displays on a TV with HDMI inputs. However, I do not need this since my TV already has s-video inputs. I wish the description for this item made this distinction more clear.
