Searched for Weathertech; what came up was Weatherbeater!
Entered "WeatherTech" on the ebay search line. Did not notice that what came up was "Weatherbeater". Should have been on alert for bait-and-switch, but naively proceeded. Was a little surprised at the lower price. The base price was about what I expected to pay for WeatherTech but there was a huge "markdown". Purchased the mats believing I was buying WeatherTech at a big discount.
Rudely awakened at delivery. Was surprised by the very low quality of the carton and the unfinished, unpolished surfaces of the floor mats. Still did not dawn on me they were not WeatherTech. Installed them and they fit very well! Wife pointed out they're meant to be used and abused, so who cares about the poor finish. She had a point.
Showed the installed mats to a friend. He clued me in, "They are Weatherbeaters NOT WeatherTechs. He had to explain the difference to me several times before the light went on. "Oh, I get it now!"
Bottom line is mats fit perfectly and it's all good!
