    Great phone
Simple effective device. Long battery life. Durable and dependable. Not great for texting but who cares when you simply need to make phone calls.

    Decent tablet, serious limitations
Its a tablet. What do you expect? I think the world of tablets has a long way to go and maybe we were all too quick to jump on the bandwagon. Apple IPADS are really popular, but they have serious compatability issues. If you want to be serious about computing, let's face it, the world runs on Microsoft right now, so IPAD is out. It's great for your teenager, but not for business. I have as yet to meet anybody who seems to like Android, except to play games and read a book. The answer for serious computing really appears to be a windows based tablet and this one is decent. Not great, not terrible, but decent. I have a 32 GIG SSD. I have no idea why I bought a 32 GIG, but I did. That is enough space, barely, as long as you don't load a bunch of stuff you don't really need like music and videos. If you have a 32 GIG, you better run it bare bones. I really wish I had at least a 64 GIG SSD. I am not really sure why they even bothered to build a 32 GIG. But it is, enough, barely enough. But let's talk about the processor. This thing should have been built with a dual core, period. This processor is like having a Camaro with a 4 cylinder engine. It will do the job, but don't expect it to do more than one thing at a time. Don't open up too many things at once. You will be waiting while it thinks if you do. It also needs 4 GIGs of RAM. This 2 GIG stuff is not good at all. It needs a bigger cache and a faster processor. This 800MHz processor is iffy at best. Battery life is not great. You will get 3 or 4 hours tops. You can extend the life by shutting down the blue tooth and wireless if they aren't needed. Those two things are battery hogs and you will get a lot more mileage by doing that. Also, dim teh screen to squeeze out more and you might get more than 4 hours, but not much. Interestingly, if it had a 4 GIG RAM stick in it, it would actually extend the battery life, because more RAM means it can do more faster, which lengthens battery life. The screen and graphics are great! The sound is even good, believe it or not. But, I am a bit dissappointed in the size of everything. When you use touch input, sometimes because all the icons are small, particulaly on the toolbar, it becomes difficult to select what you want. I have not figured out if you can increase the size of stuff on the screen. Pinch and zoom only seem to work on certain windows. Because of this, the pen input is essential to operating this tablet. The tether keeps you from losing the pen, but it is a bit bothersome because you have this string always hanging from the side of the tablet. In fact, yesterday the pen tether became wrapped around a button on my suit jacket, and I thought I would never get it untangled! In retrospect, I may not have bought this device if I would have known. But really, I don't think there is a tablet out there that is really what a serious computer should be. At least not yet. So for now, I will deal with the limitations of this one. I indicated below that I would not recommend it to a friend. Actually, whether or not I would recommend it depends on what the friend needs in a tablet. This device may be just fine for some people and it will work for me for the time being. I am just saying that Dell missed the boat on this by, 1) Not giving it a dual core processor, 2) having a 800MHz processor, 3) By even so much as offering a 32 GIG SSD, and 4) It needs more RAM.
    Honeywell TH6220D1002 FocusPRO 6000 Programmable Thermostat - 2 Heat / 1 Cool

    Great Product! Follow the Directions!
Works perfectly! However, you MUST program the unit during setup and installation. Some programming specs are not readily known by the DIY'er, so this may be an issue. I had the advantage of replacing my T-Stat with an exact duplicate. I was replacing my old Honeywell that the backlight had failed on with an exact replacement. Heat pump settings can be not as straight forward as you might think. There are a number of different possible configurations for heat pumps. I was able to get the settings for the replacement out of the old one. I went to the setup function on both units and simply copied my same settings from the old one into the new one for each step. If you are doing a fresh install, however, some of the settings required may not be so readily known without having the heat pump documentation.
