How can you beat it?

Well maybe you could by a couple bucks elsewhere, but none on a certain other site specifically pictured the extension harness I needed for my old D1540 gray market tractor. This one did, so spent the couple extra bucks. Must be cast off an OEM casing but in China of course. Quiet, excellent output. Couple things to know, states it is internally regulated, I'm not sure. I wasn't pulling it apart to find out, but the harness adapted it to the wiring to my external regulator which I left in place. States 10mm mounting, is 8mm, but that is what I needed. Finally has no fan, my pulley did, I swapped them, not sure it will matter long term but easy enough to do. All in all unbeatable for the money.

Fit 2001just fine.

OEM quality, form has changed a bit as is noted online on forums but function is just fine. Solved an annoying minor drip from my original, a common failing, still great 1.5 years on. Fits my early 2001 with no issues, not sure it would with the later engined cars.

Just like the stock item

Well just like the stock item on my mid 80’s Taiwan import. Probably made in the same factory to this day. Not as nice as on my buddies 70’s Bridgeport but not far off. Seems to truly be matte chromed, nicely roll stamped, clear and easy to read, actually a bit “too stamped” if anything compared to a genuine Bridgeport, the markings are a bit heavier than I would like but that is purely subjective opinion. Fit perfect. Shipping cost on the one I bought was ridiculous, but that doesn’t effect the product.
