Absolutely American
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this book on the recommendation of my son (a current West Point Cadet) and many of the parents who also have cadets currently attending. It is a great book. It gives a lot of insight of the day to day goings on at West Point, and also a larger picture of the process of getting accepted and various reasons for attending, along with long term plans and aspirations. The writer has given a very personal look at many of the cadets, with looks at victoriers and defeats. He has also shown a personal side to some the people "running the show".
This book is excellant for prospective candidates, cadets and their parents, friends, and relatives. It would also be very interesting and informative for anyone in general to get a look at an institution with a lot of history and importance in the United States.
