Wonderful yoga instruction
5 of 5 found this helpful I searched high and low for a yoga instructional video that incorporated the basics. There were some things I was feeling lost with, as a (sort of) beginner, who has been to a few classes but mostly focused on the home practice for various reasons. After watching previews of things and reading reviews, borrowing from libraries, I was drawn to Seane Corn and these discs. Her honest approach, her attention to detail, her lack of false feeling breathiness in the voice while instructing... and the content all drew me to these items. They are worth every penny.
Session one approaches things from a very beginner level, helping you achieve proper alignment and posture in each pose. It helps you move from one pose to another, explains the breathing technique beautifully and effectively (I had been having trouble getting this right, and this clarified my questions I'd had)~ It is an amazing starting point, challenging the beginner while making things easier for those who need adjustments due to tightness or stress, etc. I've been doing a nearly daily practice for several months, and this practice is perfect for clarifying any posture questions, and helping me deepen and make my practice more. And more.
Session two is very similar but delves deeper into the postures and new things to focus on and keep in mind for each pose, as you get comfortable with how something *should* feel. It helps you continue on in your practice, and I'd highly recommend getting the two discs together.
