this rod is a working horse
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought 2 of those rods -some months ago, to see if such a chap rod really , could handle my use of them.
I trll for the large atlantic Salmon, in the Baltic Sea , as I live in the middel of this sea-on the island-Bornholm.
we have properly the best Salmon fishing in Europe -right here.
I us the 2 rods for deep trolling -with the largest deeper divers -we have over here, I have a 130 lbs line on -and a 2 speed 50 size reel.
the rods are for hours under heavy pressure -one can hear how the line sigs.
after these monts of use -hey are still perfect!
I always shower them in fresch water after have been used. and I regular oil the rollers --one have to do that.
The Baltic Sea is not like fishing out of californien oe mexico--it is rough sea here.
but it do not seem to impress these rods--they are working horses.
I rely on them .
