Lots of bang for the buck

First of all, at this price, there's no reason not to try it. After about three days you could definitely tell a difference in the air quality in the house. I would recommend this to everybody especially if you have allergies.

CFR knock-off’s worth it?

These mufflers are a great value. They sound much better than stock (Nice tone, not much louder than stock). I don’t believe there is any performance enhancement from these. They look much better than in the pictures when installed. I guess that is a matter of personal preference. The Finish is fine. Don’t know how it will hold up. I only ride about 10,000 miles a year. I’ve put about 300 miles on them this weekend after installing. They still look brand new as they should. The “weak link” for me was removing the stock muffler Hanger bolts off the factory mufflers (2 broke removing them). Not a big deal. Just be careful when removing rear hanger bolts. PRO TIP: have a couple new hanger bolts just in case. (not included with this item) From start to finish the slip on swap is only about a 15-20 minute job. So... Harley doesn’t want you doing anything to your bike. Anything besides slip on’s will void the warranty. Come on H-D... what are you thinking???? I figured I would use these inexpensive slip on’s until I’m out of warranty. These are definitely worth the money if you know your changing out when you’re out of warranty like I am. I can’t wait to put a cat free exhaust, intake, cam and tuner on this bike.
