The extras alone are worth the set.
The book like case is gorgeous with art and movie stills for each movie included in this set. Each movie contains commentary and where applicable another version of the movie. All the special features included in the DVD's are here with a lot more added just for this set. All together you get two of the greatest sci-fi horror / action movies ever made in Alien and Aliens, Alien3 which is worth watching just for the stunning 5.1 surround sound and my least favorite Alien film Alien Resurrection.
