Dangerous due to no protective carry case
The product is fine for the price, however due to the sharpness of the hardened tip, in the event a user trips over they may well receive a penetrating wound, potentially fatal if carried in the pocket. This tool is often used by field geologists whom are working in areas of rough terrain. I'd like to see the product sold with a proper carry case, not just the small 2-3mm rubber tip.

Does the job
1 of 1 found this helpful For the very high price, the quality should be better. The unit itself is compact and keeps us cool in a small campervan in hot dry desert environment. The water bag is quite silly and difficult to hang above the cooler. The water doesn't drain out anyway because of the vacuum created due the absence of a one-way valve to allow air into the bag as the water drains out.
