Perfect!
Arrived here wrapped in many layers of bubble wrap. I was impressed by the care put into the packaging. It was disassembled for moe compact shipping, but I bought it because we aleady owned the same Dyson model, and re-assembly was a snap. The machine works beautifullly, and was immaculately cleaned up. The vaccuum motor was smoother and quieter than the old machine we had given up on reparing due to the estimated cost of repairs being higher than what I paid for the new, used one, including shipping and sales taxes.
We still have a far more complete set of accessories from our old machine, all of which will work seemlessly with the new, used one, as it is the exact same model.
I am extremely saitsfied with this purchase and will do it again in a heartbeat once my wife's obsession with vacuuming leads to yet another vacuum cleaner death..

Machine has problems and is barely usable.
Usually these used dictation machineshave a failing tape drive, but this one has a problem I've not run into before. There is something wrong with the circuit board that controls the unit. You can hear it shifting trom play to recored to reverse to fast forward while simply trying to get it to record of go back a few seconds. It's not a handset issue. I have a spare handset for this model, and its the same with the spare handset. The transcriber should have come with a warning as to its condition. I'm torn between keeping it as an emergency backup for now, or returning it for a refund. It looks to me that people have gone to word-to-text software or digital dictation equipment. Dinosaurs like me have a tough time fining a casette tape unit, but I'm getting too old to change my ways.
