Works fine, but...
The unit overheats within minutes. It was necessary to configure a muffin fan ($15) to prevent disruption of service from overheating.

Aeration by hand in hard-to-reach spots.
A great tool for aeration by hand. Why do it by hand? This tool allows you to reach isolated areas, corner locations and other regions in your lawn that a power aerator simply cannot reach. I use it to focus on well trodden places in the lawn where the ground has become especially hard and compacted. By focusing on these spots regularly, it reduces the need for general power aeration to once-a-year treatments rather than twice a year.
