It gives good performance for light duty computers
It dramatically improved my desktop's performance. My desktop starts up faster and all applications run faster. CPU normally runs cool at around 20 to 24 degree C. It was a good investment. I think I don't need another desktop for few more years. My desktop is Acer Aspire T660 originally came w/ Pentium D 2.8ghz running Windows XP Home 32 bit.
