Sad story....
This tragic event unfolded VERY close to where I was living in Lilburn, Georgia at the time in the 1990's and reading this book opened alot of forgotten tragic memories of a very tragic and sad situation of a family, and a community torn apart by a senseless act of range by a man who was obviously 3 bricks short of a stack, accidentally seriously hurting his infant daughter, then in fear, tried to hide her by burying her body, even though it was determined thru the autopsy that she was still alive, then coming up with this tale of Haley being kidnapped out of his pick up truck...He's still in prison and will probably die there. A good read.
