"Great for the price"
These are not of Starrett level quality, but they do the job. The mics have a good action when they are closed, and not the mushy squish that most cheap mics have. The locks are alright, and while I feel that the ratchets could be a little tighter, they are okay as is. I also appreciate how polished the anvils are and how smoothly, but not sloppy, the thimbles turn. For a hundred bucks, this isn't a bad set just for the mics. I use it for on-the-go work, and times when I leave them laying around the shop, so I can avoid abusing the Starrett set.
Apart from the mics, the set does have some issues. The standards are not radiused on the ends like they should be, and the the surface finish leaves something to be desired. I can just use my good standard set to calibrate the mics on, but if these were all you had I would only trust the included ones to .0005" at absolute best, more realistically .001". The box does not fit the mics very well, there is no foam on the inside and they just rattle around and bounce on the wood. The box also arrived with some minor damage, where interior plate the mics sit in was dislodged from the three tiny brad nail holding it. They make wood glue for a reason, though, and adding a block of foam would not be that hard if you were really concerned.
Overall, I give these four stars, for the value. They are not the last word on a tolerance range of .0001, or anything crazy, but they're far better than calipers and they are a good bargain for the price.

Worked great on my old Delta contractor saw
The mounting hardware didn't fit the holes in my saw, but a trip to the hardware store fixed that problem. The holes in the rails lined up, which I wasn't actually expecting, and for just $200, it preforms like a much more expensive fence.

"Not worth it"
1 of 1 found this helpful I ordered these understanding that they were thirty dollars and they were going to say made in china and not Mitutoyo. That said, I don't think these are really even usable. The telescoping rods are loose, with about a 1/16" gap in-between each section. The ends of the rods are also just a horribly machined finish, and are not hardened or ground. The internal spring is also not strong enough, which only contributes to the rattle and inaccuracy. Either spend the money on a little better set or don't bother. These are no better than the I.D. jaws of a caliper.
