great axe why pay more
i compared lots of the splitting axes on offer , glad i went for this one , well happy, 2 kg , great weight more would have been too unweildy . the axe head shape is great , not too broad blade face so punches into the wood with good , force , the shape of the head spreads the wood , so helping it split , but it didnt jam much at all which made removal and second blow easy when it didnt split. the lenghth of 800 +/- was ok . im short so its on the edge of long for me , but " normal " sized people would probably think perfect. , however i do have a 700+/- felling axe which is also too short for this splitting type swing so maybe im just needing to get used to it. all in all why pay more ( and there were so many options to pay more and lots more ) . i am pleased with this investment. i like traditional wood handles ( like wood full stop ) , but this plastic/ fibergalass ?? handle seems very durable and i think likely very long lasting , though timewill tell ?

universal high temperature safety cut out thermostat
mine arrived without a cover cap, they could not help me with spare. I had to improvise. the sealing glands come in different sizes ( hole diameter size ) I made a bad assumption they were standard again I had to improvise. my fryer is 3.5 kw, I put a clamp amp meter on it at 11 amps , this is rated 16 amps so I have made another assumption this is ok ! its working fine , well I have no way of checking its actual function again I am going to assume it will cut out in that fateful event when all else fails . I hope this helps !
