Waited a few days still no response. ebay stepped in and I was informed I would receive a refund. Was never told why I did not receive item or why I was getting a refund. Decent quality replacement
Is it as good as the genuine one, not exactly but it's so cheap. I bought two one as a backup one to replace a shot container on another machine. It probably could be upgraded using a genuine Vitamix blade but the retainer ring would almost need a wrench fabricated by the end user. Something I could do but not sure about other people. I'd probably replace both because the Vitamix retainer is of heavier metal and will,dissipate the heat from the bearings better, but depending on what you do this could be years before that's an issue. Still, I found a $5 Vitamix at a Salvation Army As Is Barn with shot container and blade bearings and it's up and running like new. I bought an extra for mine after it arrived. Too good a deal to pass up. Remember that the Vitamix base is well likely to outlast the blades, container and coupler.
