Laputa Castle in the Sky from JAPAN New DVD Miyazaki Hayao Language Japanese

Crisp and Clear with VHS user Nostalgia

I grew up on the vhs version of Castle in the Sky and while I adore the Disney dubbed version they did, it just didn't hit me with nostalgia like the 1999 audio. I have been searching for any version of this movie that also had the 1999 vhs audio, and this dvd do NOT disappoint. While the options were a bit difficult to use due to being in Japanese, that's on me, not the seller. The visuals were stunning and clear like they were on Blue-Ray. The audio, both English and Japanese were on point and weren't out of sync with the animation. The subtitles are great and match the dialogue wonderfully. This was definitely worth the money. I now have a three copies of Castle in the Sky and I don't regret the money I spent to obtain them. One in Japanese, which also contains the 1999 audio, and the 2003 Disney dub. I will love each and every one of them as they are all apart of my childhood, and I will ensure that they are apart of my nieces and nephews childhoods as well!!!
