Try n buy used gear.
Take your time with it. Get to know it. I did and I really like it now.
Something that i wasn't expecting with this pedal is how well it helps my clean tone when I split my humbuckers into singles. It just fills out that kinda whimpy sound when switching between the two. And it doesnt overdrive the humbuckers either.
Its the first compressor Ive owned or used and I guess it took about half hour to find the settings I liked that worked with my rig.
Its built like a tank and its small as but can still run off a 9v battery. Very cool!
