Honda emblem

Clarity needed.
Ad says it fits a 2414 Makita. A 2414 is a pivoting cut off saw. This power cord is for a hand held Makita tool as there's a power switch in the handle, so therefore it is not designed for nor does it fit the 2414 series tool. I remove the cord, added eyes, modified the strain relief, and it fits my 2414. Says if fits a 2708, which is a table saw. The ad should say that the cord may have to be removed and modified to be used on some of the tools listed.
